I thought with the vaccine and the damn QR code they'd be able to have at least half the capacity... oh well.

I’ve complied with every single rule and regulation since the pandemic started, but I’m almost at my wit’s end here, I need some kind of normalcy to return, and I expect I’m not alone.

Most of us did, and to be honest we are all tired. But I'd rather we go at this cautiously and slowly go back to normal than go back to normal now and having to take a step back and return to confinement this winter.

The Delta variant is apparently very vicious and even some people who had their two shots gets their asses kicked.

yeah, hospitalizations are on the rise right now, the death rate looks a lot lower now that a good chunk of the population is vaccinated but I agree it might not be such a good idea to rush things either

Don't get how Sweden got out of it with practically no restrictions while other places really have a hard time even with restrictions. Maybe it's population density...

I mean 10% of their population has had it at one point or another now. We're at like 4%.

Cultural thing, probably.

An awful lot of people here seem to not be interested in practicing even basic hygiene.

Swedes are self-disciplined. There was no "lockdown" in effect (in the peak of the crisis), just recommendations. People were still wearing masks, and the streets were empty.

Here, we are a people of protesters, whining for everything, LIBARTÉ, etc. Minor inconveniences are confused with persecution.

Still, at some point a few months ago, it was going horribly and their prime minister admitted they should have been more aggressive and that their plan was a failure.

Can't wait to get my 7th vaccine sponsored by "insert giant pharma company here" get in a coma again so I can fight off the Omega variant that turns children into hydra's and is 5000000000000 times more "infective."
